Kanye's Apology

Above is his appearence on Jay Leno in case you missed it. In addition to his apology on Leno, he also posted this last night on his blog:

I feel like Ben Stiller in "Meet the Parents" when he messed up everything and Robert De Niro asked him to leave... That was Taylor's moment and I had no right in any way to tae it from her. I am truly sorry.

Honestly, I kindof wish he would just stay completely one way or the other, sincere or arrogant. And besides, Kanye wouldn't be as entertaining, or as Kanye-ish if he weren't cocky.

Oh, Kanye..

Listen to his meltdown backstage at the VMA's, after acting like a jackass on stage.

Oh, Kanye, what are we going to do with you.

In Case You Missed It

Although Im sure that anyone who sees this blog has their music game on lock, there are probably some of us out there who may have missed out on the oodles of good music that surfaced this summer

Here are just some singles that you should know unless you live under a rock... or in Kansas jk

Ice Cream Paint Job (Remix) - "Yeah Buddy"

Forever - in order of veteran status and lyrical skill, Drake, Kanye, Weezy and Eminem with his best verse in ages

Wasted (Remix) - summer party anthem next to "I Gotta Feeling". p.s. Gucci Mane is rediculous

Throw It In The Bag (Remix) - Fabolous featuring Drake and great sampling from The-Dream's "Fancy"

Congratulations - Drake with sample from "Viva la Vida"

Best I Ever Had (remix) - I gotta say, the radio really killed this song but the verse from Nicki Minaj adds some flare

And Wale came out with another Mixtape

PB&J

So recently alot of rappers have tested the waters of "hipster" music and with the exception of Jim Jones' freestyle over MGMT's "Electric Feel", most artists have come up with some pretty good collaborations. One group in particular has gotten notable attention, as Peter, Bjorn and John have even gone on tour with Kanye, playing as his back up band at times. Their newish song "Nothing to Worry About" has also gotten a fair amount of attention from DJs. Their album Living Thing came out on March 31 and is availiable on iTunes.

Young Folks (Freestyle) - Kanye West and Peter, Bjorn & John

Lets Call It Off (Feat. Peter, Bjorn & John) - Drake

Nothing to Worry About (Troublemakers Remix)

Party and Bullshit (Dave Wrangler Remix) - Notorious B.I.G. vs Peter, Bjorn & John

Let Me Be Your Supernova

New music from the silver fox, Mr. Hudson. More Kanye on autotune. You make youre own judgement.

Personally I like this song the more I listen to it. And Kanye is welcome to support and showboat his newly discovered talent(Mr. Hudson) as long as he actually sounds decent doing it.

Magic Man

New Kanye featuring John Legend, Common, and Mailk Yusef. The verses are incredible (except Mailk's even though its still awkwardly good) and i like the ending

Kind of a Big Deal...

"Kinda Like a Big Deal" - Clipse ft. Kanye West (Prod. by DJ Khalil)
http://www.zshare.net/audio/589565355c63caad/

The VA Beach boys come hard with this certified banger produced by L.A.'s own DJ Khalil. Though The Thornton Brothers undoubtedly go in on the track, Kanye steals the show, delivering one of his best and most technical verses to date.

Kanye's Reaction to South Park's 'Fishsticks'

On his own blog, Kanye had this to say about South Park's bashing:

"SOUTH PARK MURDERED ME LAST NIGHT AND IT'S PRETTY FUNNY. IT HURTS MY FEELINGS BUT WHAT CAN YOU EXPECT FROM SOUTH PARK! I ACTUALLY HAVE BEEN WORKING ON MY EGO THOUGH. HAVING THE CRAZY EGO IS PLAYED OUT AT THIS POINT IN MY LIFE AND CAREER. I USE TO USE IT TO BUILD UP MY ESTEEM WHEN NOBODY BELIEVED IN ME. NOW THAT PEOPLE DO BELIEVE AND SUPPORT MY MUSIC AND PRODUCTS THE BEST RESPONSE IS THANK YOU INSTEAD OF "I TOLD YOU SO!!!" IT'S COOL TO TALK SHIT WHEN YOU'RE RAPPING BUT NOT IN REAL LIFE. WHEN YOU MEET LITTLE WAYNE IN PERSON HE'S THE NICEST GUY FOR EXAMPLE. I JUST WANNA BE A DOPER PERSON WHICH STARTS WITH ME NOT ALWAYS TELLING PEOPLE HOW DOPE I THINK I AM. I NEED TO JUST GET PAST MYSELF. DROP THE BRAVADO AND JUST MAKE DOPE PRODUCT. EVERYTHING IS NOT THAT SERIOUS. AS LONG AS PEOPLE THINK I ACT LIKE A BITCH THIS TYPE OF SHIT WILL HAPPEN TO ME. I GOT A LONG ROAD AHEAD OF ME TO MAKE PEOPLE BELIEVE I'M NOT ACTUALLY A HUGE DOUCHE BUT I'M UP FOR THE CHALLENGE. I'M SURE THE WRITERS AT SOUTH PARK ARE REALLY NICE PEOPLE IN REAL LIFE. THANKS FOR TAKING THE TIME TO DRAW MY CREW. THAT WAS PRETTY FUNNY ALSO!! I'M SURE THERE'S GRAMMATICAL ERRORS IN THIS... THAT'S HOW YOU KNOW IT'S ME!"

As you may have assumed from his comments, the episode was ultimately about his ego,but heres what it concluded with:

Some New Songs

Walking On the Moon - The Dream ft. Kanye West

- Fun new R & B song by The Dream.  Kanye kills it at the end with a really good verse.  I couldn't find a downloadable version of this song but its on limewire and probably ITunes.

City Life - Nexx Level

- I don't know anything about this group, but the song is getting a lot of buzz around the intronet.  It's a mix of R & B and Hip-hop with a really tight clubish techo beat.  You can download this one from the website.

Not Gonna Teach Him (The Twelves Kickmix) - Black Kids ft. Lil' Wayne

----->Download<------

- Really nice remix to the Black Kids song.  The Twelves are always good for a solid remix to goods songs.  Lil' Wayne adds a pretty good verse at the end of the song.  Good music to drive to.  You can download this one through the link on hype machine.

Maybach Music Part 2

The Boss is back with this b-e-a-utiful track featuring T-Pain, Lil Wayne, and ofcourse Mr. West. This larger-than-life eargasm will be featured on Ross' album Deeper Than Rap, in stores April 21st. If you didnt catch the original Maybach Music with Ricky and Jay-Z from his 2008 Trilla album, be sure to check that out too. Maybach Music pt. 2 - Rick Ross

Mr. Hudson - There Will Be Tears

The Music video of Mr. Hudson's new song There Will Be Tears.  He's a new artist from the UK that Kanye just signed to a deal.  He kinda sounds like Chris Martin from Coldplay, but more electronic.  The video is pretty cool/weird.  Its Directed by this guy named Nabil who has done some music videos for Kanye before.  Enjoy.
